Livestrong multi-tenant office building

The Livestrong multi-tenant office building with parking basement, is an appealing architectural new construction project, designed by Architect Cees den Heijer. ICM Consult provided advice on construction methods and contractor selection during the preparation phase and subsequently conducted Project Management, supervision, and a broad construction administration. The project, which started as a shell construction project, was further fleshed out during the execution to the wishes of the client, adjusting the related budget and construction time. The project was delivered within the agreements made on this.

“An inspired architect, a committed client and a good contractor teamed up with us were key in the successful creation of this extraordinary project”

The architectural concept of the building can be described as an uninterrupted 3d-designed band that includes the program. The building opens to the diagonally opposite monumental manor, where the client of this project is housed. The building is characterized by the modern and rough finish inside, with construction and installations in sight.

There are no ceilings, the steel construction is in sight and the concrete columns and floor finish consist of a transparent coating. During construction, this meant that exceptional care was required in the preparation and execution in the shell construction phase, and that shell construction components remained protected until delivery. This required an intense, yet highly successful, team effort of the architect, client, contractor, project manager and other stakeholders.
